With event med­ical ser­vices in grow­ing demand across Tas­ma­nia, ProMED Tas­ma­nia is expand­ing our team of First Aiders, Medics, Reg­is­tered Para­medics, Reg­is­tered Nurs­es, and Doctors.

From major music fes­ti­vals and sport­ing fix­tures to com­mu­ni­ty gath­er­ings and pri­vate func­tions, you’ll join a pro­fes­sion­al, sup­port­ive crew deliv­er­ing high-qual­i­ty care where it mat­ters most — often in the mid­dle of the action.

General Requirements for All Roles

  • Hold a current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable Persons (RWVP) - Employee Card
  • Hold a current Tasmanian Driver's Licence
  • Hold a current National Police Check
  • Provide evidence of up-to-date immunisations for: 
    • Hepatitis B
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
    • dTpa (Pertussis, Diphtheria, Tetanus)
    • Varicella
    • Influenza

Basic Life Support (BLS) Medic

(Health Professionals and Support Services Award - Support Services Officer Level 5 | Casual)

Essential Requirements:
  • HLT31220 Certificate III in Basic Health Care, HLT31120 Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport, HLT41120 Certificate IV in Health Care, or equivalent

  • HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid*
  • HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Therapy*
  • PUAEME008 Provide Pain Management*
  • 22702VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies*
  • 22578VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis*

Health Care Professional (Registered Nurse / Registered Paramedic)

(RN — Nurses Award Level 1 | Paramedic - Ambulance Officer Year 1 | Casual)

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Paramedicine, or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration (no restrictions or conditions)
  • Current or recent clinical practice in an emergency or urgent care setting

If the applicant does not have current or recent clinical practice in an emergency or urgent care setting, they must hold HLTAID014*, HLTAID015*, PUAEME008*, 22702VIC*, and 22578VIC*.

* - Successful applicants can gain this qualification through ProMED Tasmania via training or RPL at no cost.
